Lyophilized Human Cord Blood Platelet Lysate – PLT

Platelets are a natural reservoir of growth factors for several cell lineages. Their activation at sites of tissue injury promotes cell proliferation and tissue repair, including revascularization. PLT obtained from platelet-enriched- plasma (PRP) contains additional factors, such as fibrinogen and other extracellular matrix precursors, which further promote cell adhesion and tissue repair. Umbilical Cord Blood (UCB) have high concentration of platelets. Cord Blood Platelet is widely acknowledged that it contains higher amount of growth factors and cytokines. A study reported that UCB-plasma contains higher VEGF, G-CSF, EGF and FGF-basic growth factors compare to adult peripheral blood plasma¹. The increased level of EGF and FGF-basic in UCB promotes stem cell renewal and inhibit cell senescence. Thus, our PLT can improve the potency in promoting cell growth as cell supplement.
